The event: The inauguration of the bridge which ties Ukraine with Romania,between Solotvino and Sighetu
Marmatiei with the participation of both presidents,of Ukraine-Viktor Juschenko and of Romania,Traian Basescu.

In early morning,at 8.30., I was present at the bridge,where several forces of police and jandarmery were assuring the order and security.I had many acquaintances among press,and local representatives.

I was wearing an ecusson on which was written:May Peace Prevail on Earth!

Those who wished to pass the bridge and to go until the point of border control Solotvino,were invited to decide quickly if they want,because later,after 9.00. was impossibile,until the end of the inauguration of the bridge.

I passed,together with the press,TV,and other peoples representing diverse areas of public life.

I passed as the others through the process of metal detection.

I was on Ukrainian land!

There,before the point of control of Solotvino,quiet great crowd was waiting for the presidents.

I was asked by some representatives of the ukrainian press how to writte corectly the name of the Romanian president.I helped them.I saw of very beautiful journalist ladies there.

I met the president of the Union of the Ukrainians from Romania,changed few words with him and shaked hands.I met there one bishop and asked for his blessing.

I made two acquaintances,with 2 cameramen-1 from TV Inter,and the other

+1,Ukrainian channels.

I received from someone two flags,one Romanian and one Ukrainian.

I was raising and waving the flags.

Finally,the presidents arrived.We listened the Romanian,and than the Ukrainian anthem respectfully.

The presidents,and other officialities kept their speech.

With the end of the speech,the presidents gone through the crowd,on the bridge to cut the official cord.

I was in their back,in the steps of the peoples assuring the security of the two presidents.

I was filmed,by some TV stations,and saw myself at PRO TV(*reknown Romanian TV channel which diffuses at national level),holding in hands the two flags,the Romanian and Ukrainian.Other peoples said they saw me on Prima TV too(other Romanian TV channel diffusing at national level).

Is possibile that I was filmed by Ukrainian,and Hungarian TV stations or corespondents too.After the cutt of the official cord,I was affortunated to shake hands with both presidents,Viktor Jushchenko and Traian Basescu.

Than they went with the official column to the city s hall.

After the inauguration of the bridge,I went back to my workplace.

It was an historical event,and I was glad I participated.
