A Tribute to Our Local Waterways

The URI of the Mid-Hudson Valley is hosting a multi-faith and environmental awareness event on Wednesday, Sept 21st.An afternoon of Multi-faith Ceremony & Environmental Awareness that will have fire ceremonies of three traditions, a Native American drum and song group, a Unitarian minister speaking on 'water as a human right,' and environmental presentations.  The area is facing many threats to the ecosystem and drinking water and the marriage of faith traditions and water rights groups will serve our Hudson Valley well.

Featuring:
Rev. James C. Davis – Native American Smudge and Fire Ceremony
Pandit Krishna Namboodiri – Yagna (Vedic Fire)
The Lamas of Kunzang Panchen Ling – Buddhist Burnt Offering
Rev. Dr. Jan Carlsson-Bull – Unitarian Universalist Congregation
The Cloud Breaker Society & Red Feather Singers
