SEED GRANTS PROGRAM- JOINT PROJECTS

URI MULTIREGION
Description:
The Multiregion Seed Grant program aims at supporting CC projects and activities that help fulfill URI’s purpose. In 2012 the Multiregion Seed Grant Program also aims to strengthen the connection and shared learning among CCs in the Multi-region by encouraging CCs to undertake a project together.
The program provides a maximum amount of USD 1000 as a small grant contribution to each project, or USD 500 for each CC. In order to be eligible for the grant, at least two CCs must create a joint project to be implemented by both of them and submit a joint application. At least two Multiregion CCs are asked to plan and propose one project that both of them will implement together.
In the past, the URI Multiregion has awarded more than 20 Seed Grants to individual CCs for different kinds of programs and in different countries. This year, CCs are encouraged to take part in this innovative opportunity to develop one’s own CC work and at the same time strengthen ties and mutual learning with another CC.
