The Multiregion of URI encompasses Cooperation Circles and Affiliates throughout the world. We welcome your interest in becoming an Affiliate of the Multiregion.
An Affiliate of URI Multiregion is an individual, group, or organization that:
1. supports and values of the URI Preamble, Purpose and Principles;
2. desires to be included in URI communication and activities;
3. does not desire the rights and responsibilities of becoming or belonging to a URI Cooperation Circle.
The specific rights of an Affiliate are as follows:
• Affiliates may contribute notice of upcoming programs and events to the www.urimulti.org web site.
• Affiliates are invited to participate in local, regional, and global URI activities, including volunteering to serve on the region’s leadership council, committees and work teams.
• Affiliates are invited to participate in our internet community and URI list-serves to share ideas and coordinate collective actions.
• Affiliate organizations may exchange reciprocal website links with URI to encourage mutual networking opportunities and the promotion of events and programs.
To help strengthen URI and its work in the Multiregion, Affiliates are also invited to provide a financial or in-kind contribution of their choosing on an annual or quarterly basis.
Acceptance of an Affiliate application constitutes an agreement between URI-MR and the Affiliate to continue in perpetuity until such time as the Affiliate or URI-MR requests termination of the relationship by written notice. Contact information for the Affiliate will be reconfirmed annually.
